Our Administration

Jody Nelson
Chief Executive Officer
Jody Nelson is the CEO for St. Luke's Medical Center. A native of Crosby, ND, Jody joined St. Luke’s Medical Center in 2016. Jody graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelors in Business Administration. She is passionate about her hometown and ensuring that quality healthcare is available to the communities and people she loves.
Jody is busy with her three children, Logan, Carter and Hadley. Her husband, Nate, teaches and coaches at Divide County High School so supporting local sports is a large part of their lives. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, golf, and reading.

Megan Peterson
Chief Financial Officer
Megan Peterson is the CFO for St. Luke's Medical Center. She graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelors in Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Master Certificate in Healthcare Administration at the University of North Dakota as well as her CPA licensure. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, and going to the lake.

Sarah Thomte
Director of Nursing
Sarah Thomte is our Director of Nursing at St. Luke’s Medical Center. She is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from University of Mary. She worked on the Medical/Oncology Unit at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, CA for 2 years before returning to her home town of Crosby. Sarah worked as an RN at St. Luke’s Medical Center for 8 years before taking on the Assistant Director of Nursing role in 2017, and then Director of Nursing in 2019. She enjoys the variety of patient acuity in our region, but has a particular interest in ER/Trauma services. She is married with 2 children. She enjoys camping, concerts, and watching football, but most of all, being a mom and spending time with family.
Our Department Heads

Mary Dhuyvetter
Director of Laboratory and Radiology
Mary Dhuyvetter is the Director of Lab and Radiology for St. Luke's Medical Cetner. She attended NDSU, graduating in 1979 with a degree in Medical Technology. She has worked at St. Luke's since 1979. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, playing piano, and reading!

Nicki Loucks
Director of Therapy
Nicki Loucks graduated from University of North Dakota in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy and has worked in rural healthcare all of her career. She has been employed with St Luke’s Medical Center since 1988, starting out as the only therapist in a 70 mile radius. Nicki has been involved in patient care for all ages and by default, is now assuming more department management duties. She has been a long-time advocate for active lifestyles at any age.
Nicki’s passions away from work involve trail running, Harley rides, pheasant hunting and gardening, especially when they are done with family, friends or her 4-legged companion(s).

Lacey Nelson
Director of Health Information
Lacey has been with St. Luke’s since August of 2013. She lives on a small ranch with her husband and two children. She enjoys watching her kids sporting events and kayaking and fishing in the summer.
