Certified Family Nurse Practicioner
Christine Knudsvig was raised in Sacramento, California. She relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1999. During that time she worked in a variety of medical practices including Pain Management, Family Practice and Oculo-Plastic Surgery. She was certified as both a Medical Assistant and Radiographic Technologist. She returned to school and obtained her undergraduate degree in nursing from Ivy Tech State College. She worked as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. She also obtained certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner while working in the ER. She obtained her graduate education at Indiana University School of Nursing as an Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. After completing her Masters Degree, she has worked in a variety of roles including Pulmonary Critical Care, Hospitalist Medicine and Lung Transplant specialty care. She relocated to Crosby, North Dakota where she works in Family Medicine/Rural Healthcare. She went back to school to obtain a post-masters certification in Family Medicine which was completed in 2017. Christine is board certified as both an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
