Essential Job Functions:

Front Office Clerk/Receptionist duties include:

  • Accounts receivable

    • File & retain all accounts receivable records.

    • Reconcile and submit reports related to A/R.

  • Keeps all business manuals updated and all office machines functioning properly.

  • Maintains an orderly office and assures coverage at all times during business hours

  • Assist patients and their families with daily needs and act as a resource to all who may need assistance with questions or concerns

  • Schedule patients for clinic visits and lab / xray services

  • Responsible for chart management and record scanning

  • Sort and stamp mail

  • Perform receptionist and other office duties, as needed.

 

Insurance/Billing Clerk duties include:

  • Accounts receivable

    • Billing private accounts, filing insurance claims.

    • File & retain all accounts receivable records.

 

This position ensures that the telephones are courteously and professionally answered, patients are warmly and professionally received, payments are accurately recorded and collected. Employees are accountable to share all responsibilities listed, as well as cover for each other when out of the office.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in health care, business, communication, or other related field, customer service skills, along with office, filing, & computer experience.Background in Healthcare a plus!Candidate will also be expected to cross train as needed, as well as learn electronic health record as it relates to their daily operations.
